Sabina-Francesca Foisor is a Romanian-American woman grandmaster. Foisor's earliest success came when she won the U-8 Girls European Championship in 1996. She decided to move to the United States in 2008 after earning a chess scholarship at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She transferred to the U.S. federation in 2009.
